HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?

We realise that questions may come up whilst you're browsing through the pretties on the website. Below you'll find some of the most frequently asked questions about our kid's clothing. Soon you'll be shopping Seamstressed like a pro! Please feel free to give us a shout if you can’t find what you’re looking for.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

We want you to love our products as much as we do, but if there’s a problem, please get in touch and we will make it right! We will gladly accept returns and exchanges for all our products except personalised or intimate items. Contact us within 14 days and send the item back unused and in its original packaging for a full refund. We will also refund the return postage costs if the return is a result of our mistake, such as receiving the wrong item or if it’s defective in any way. If you have changed your mind or ordered by accident, please let us know the same day so we can cancel and refund your hard earned pennies.

WHAT ABOUT YOUR P&P?

Orders are dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For as standard. This is for your security and protection. No-one likes the disappointment of a missing parcel!

Your items will come gift-wrapped in tissue paper at no extra cost. We are always happy to send gift items straight to a friend or family member direct, just let us know if you would like a special greeting added.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

If you are ordering through the website, you can pay with any of the major debit/credit cards or PayPal. Clearpay and Klarna are now available to help spread the cost.

We also accept cash/card on collection if that's better for you. Whatever is best, we aim to please.

WHAT ARE YOUR TURNAROUND TIMES?

All items are made to order, and as such, we ask for you to allow up to 4 weeks for construction. It is usually much quicker than that, but if you have a deadline, please let me know. Further delays may be possible during busy periods such as Christmas or during worldwide pandemics.

WHAT IS YOUR STANCE ON SUSTAINABILITY?

This is something super important to us. We believe in 'Slow-fashion'; supplying better quality garments that will last longer and reduce waste. Our fabrics are heavy, durable and hardwearing, so will be grown out of and then passed to someone else to enjoy!

We strive to create the most minimal amount of waste. Any fabric scraps are donated to local groups, sold on, or used for underwear or face wipes. We also endeavour to reduce waste with our packaging. We use recycled tissue-paper gift wrap, made and printed in a local paper mill. Everything we do uses as little plastic as possible, we even re-use mailer bags to save them from landfill!

DO YOU PRE-WASH YOUR FABRIC?

We used to, but now we have a larger turnover, it is not always possible. Laundering +12m of fabric at a time isn't feasible...

Natural fibres are admittedly prone to shrinking, but we select our suppliers very carefully and look for minimal shrinkage. Currently, its about 0-5%. Thats not too shabby!

Our clothing items are sized quite generously, so any possible shrinkage won't ever be an issue, and there is always plenty of growing room!

DO YOU SELL GIFT CARDS?

Currently, I can offer gift codes but do not have any physical cards or vouchers as yet. If this is something you would like us to arrange for you, please drop us a quick message and we will sort something out.

CAN YOU MAKE ME SOMETHING BESPOKE?

Of course! We love a challenge! If there is a particular fabric you would like to source, or maybe even have designed especially for you, we can look into that. If there's a specific item of clothing or homeware you have been searching for but can't find, let us know. We can always advise and try our best to help.

DO YOU SUPPLY WHOLESALE?

Nothing is impossible! We are happy to supply wholesale given enough notice. Please contact us with your requirements and we can have a conversation about what you need. :)
